No, it will not be removed from AppData\Local\Apps\2.0.

Did you uninstall the app from Control Panel with it on?
If so, you have [not successfully] uninstalled the app because it remains in AppData\Local\Apps\2.0.

The problem is that the app remains in AppData\Local\Apps\2.0 even though the app has been uninstalled.

@Aceldama , thanks for the feedback, after again checking, I reproduced your problem. Then I want to know why you need to uninstall the app when the app is running. Based on my test, if you close the app and uninstall the app, it will not occur the problem.

Developers are familiar with this issue and will exit and uninstall the program.
However, users are different.
The user is not familiar with this part, so I think he can uninstall the program even with the program on.

Therefore, developers should deliberately program the following processes:

Attempt to uninstall from the control panel.

Exit the program.

Actually uninstall the program.

@Aceldama , Sorry for the late response, based on my reseach, I find that Currently there is no such events like appinstalled event in clickonce. I suggest that you could request a feature about Clikonce in Developer Community.
