When I do a Korean search in Search Windows, the search is not working properly.

It was checked that the Korean name exists in Visio.

Options>Advanced>Search Shapes>Search for

I tried switching both Include All Words (AND) and Include Any Words (OR) in the options, but with no success.

What is the problem? Any reply would be appreciated.

    @Jeatek Ryu ,

    Did you download the stencils from Internet? If yes, please make sure the language of the stencil is Korean.

    Besides, I would suggest you go to File > Options > Advanced > Scroll down to the bottom, click "File Locations" under General, check the path of My Shapes.
    General it should be C:\Users\<User Name>\Documents\My Shapes.

    Locate to My Shapes folder and , C:\Program Files or Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\Visio Content\1033. Make sure they have same files with .vssx format via copying and pasting.

    If the steps above do not work, please go to Control Panel (Large icons View) > Indexing Options > Advanced > File Types tab > At the bottom, select "Index Properties and File Contents" > OK > Rebuild the Index. Please wait some minutes until the process is complete.

    A solution that worked for me:

    1. Make sure the "My Shapes" folder is NOT under OneDrive. If it is, move it somewhere like %HOMEPATH%\My Shapes
    2. Make sure Visio is pointing to %HOMEPATH%\My Shapes folder via File > Options > Advanced > Scroll down to the bottom, click "File Locations"
    3. Restart Visio, try searching again

    Voila!

    The root of the problem is that files under OneDrive are not being indexed by the Windows Indexing service (search for Indexing Options in the Control Panel as suggested above) - you will find there is no way to add OneDrive or any subfolders thereof, it is simply not listed and cannot be added.

    Hi, this has NEVER worked for me (Dutch OS), the only time it worked was when I was in the States using US OS and English Visio. No matter what, indexing, rebuilding, etc. i made my own database in Acces and do it that way, very very annoying, and since more than 10 years, not resolved.
