Does Microsoft 365 Click-to-Run support OLE Automation

We have an external application that opens a CSV file, massages and formats the data and saves it to an excel spreadsheet. We use ole commands to do this all in the background. We are hearing that ms click-to-run will no longer support this, potentially due to typelibs being registered in a different place than originally.
Does anyone know a work around or has gotten this to work using MS 365 click-to-run.
