Azure AD joined PC

Hello,

If I want to have just devices joined to azure AD, so these devices can be accessed through company's email, do I need Intune subscription ?
I don't want to manage them, or push apps and configuration from cloud to the devices.

    No, Intune is not required in this scenario ( and the devices really would not have to be joined to be able to access email))

    sorry, you misunderstood me. I mean we just want that users to login or sign in in these devices using the email accounts (because the users of Azure AD are email accounts), not joining them to Azure AD to access the email.
