Hi,
In Office 365, I need to be able to protect emails and documents through either encryption when leaving the organisation or by restrictions such as preventing modification to the file or saving a copy etc. I also want to create retention policies for emails and documents.
In the Microsoft Purview Information Protection section I can create a label where if used the email/document is encrypted for example.
Is this same label used for retention or does a separate label have to be created for retention policies within the Data Lifecycle management section in Microsoft Purview.
Would a customer then have to select both labels for the restriction and the retention to apply.
Is it possible to have one label that does everything?
