Recently I caught a virus and used a script titled, "tron," to remove it. Unfortunately It set a group policy and turned off the suggestion option when typing in a web site. How do I remove the policy and return Edge to it's normal operation. TIA

    Hi @Steven Maguire ,

Unfortunately It set a group policy and turned off the suggestion option when typing in a web site.

Based on your description, I think what you are referring to is the Enable search suggestions policy in Microsoft Edge. This policy controls whether web search suggestions are enabled in the address bar in Microsoft Edge.

And you can can see if it takes effect in browser settings, just navigate to edge://settings/search in Edge and check the option Show me search and site suggestions using my typed characters is enabled. If possible, you can re-enable it via this setting, but if it shows This setting is managed by your organization like this screenshot, you'll have to configure the group policy mentioned above or registry to enable it.

    Regards,
