I'm stucking at "Deleting this recovery key now…"

Hi friends,

I had been setup new laptop and I need to remove old bitlocker key, but I was sticking at page "Deleting this recovery key now…".

Please help me, let me know how can I delete it, complete?

Absolutely, old laptop has been decrypted ok before, and I have one laptop only.

My old ID Key: DEE7E122

I have the same issue.

I have been able to delete the BitLocker encryption keys many times before but this time - it's getting stuck on that pop-up as shown on the screenshot shared by @Cu89

I'm not that much of a genius to say the following:
I think this is a glitch of some sort because it only happened after I 'deleted' the registered device on my account before deleting the BitLocker encryption keys. In other words - when I now try to delete the BitLocker encryption keys - it is probably searching for the device to which these keys were registered to - but since it does not have said registered device on the account - it gets stuck on the that pop-up message and does not delete.

The above is just a wild guess - but could be true... do you have any input to add about this @S.Sengupta ? How do we let Microsoft know about this issue?

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having issues related to Deleting recovery keys.

1. Please power-cycle this laptop and try to delete using in-private or incognito mode.
2. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
3. Please ensure you are connected with Microsoft account from which you are trying to delete this key.
4. Please check if your Internet is working good as its your Laptop needs to be synced with Cloud.

I have the exact same problem

Disabled antivirus software and Windows Firewall. Used the Browser Incognito mode.

Used the Chrome Browser, Used the Edge Browser.

Same result every time: Just hangs on the Revolving "Deleting Recovery key now..."

When aborting and checking the online keys again, they all remain there.
