WSFC on Azure

Question

Hello ,

I am planning to deploy a 2 node failover cluster( servers in 2 AZs) for our application workload. For the shared storage planning to make use ANF( azure netapp files) mounted as SMB share and use cloud witness as file share witness.

will this solution work?
I know, there is storage spaces direct(S2D) , wanted to know if above solution works or if not , what challenges it would pose?

Azure NetApp Files supports creating volumes using NFS (NFSv3 and NFSv4.1), SMBv3, or dual protocol (NFSv3 and SMB). A volume's capacity consumption counts against its pool's provisioned capacity.
