I have suddenly lost my Collections. If I right-click in any web-page, i can see the list of them. But selecting the Collections button to try to retrieve any of them throws up empty. Can anyone help, please?

Thank you Deepak, I am sure that your suggestion has merit. In my case, however, the problem apparently fixed itself, for no discernible reason whatsoever! I think that it was caused by an update to Edge and then cured by another later one.

Guys, I found a sollution, that works in my case...

    I followed this path

    C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Collections

    and found two files:

    > collectionsSQLite (many bytes)

    > collectionsSQLite-journal (zero bytes)

I just renamed both, using the new name (with -journal sufix) on the original collectionsSQLite file (that has my old data).

I closed Edge e reopen it. So, magically, all my notes were back!

    See ya,

This is a repost of a reply I have posted on other forums:

Got tired of the Collections not showing, so took a deeper drive into Edge settings and found an E-Z solution!

First, just to beat a poor, totally exhausted horse, in Edge Settings, under Appearances / Collections button, make sure this is turned on. I assume everyone already has done this part.

Then, again in Edge Setting, select "Privacy Search and Services". Scroll down to the Services section, find the entry "Show Collections and follow content creators in Microsoft Edge", and turn it on. Also, turn on "Get notified when creators you follow post new content", if we want to once again get web-based notifications on our PC, such as from YouTube, (the Notifications option is no longer enough).

The Collections button should now appear in the banner. We can also bring up collections with Cntrl+Shift+Y.

In the back of my mind, I suspected I would find it blocked here. Finally had time to take a look. Too bad this option is not linked to the Collections option under Appearance, as I think it should be.

I ran into this issue and my resolution was more simplistic. I have two different logins associated with Edge. By default my browser logs into one but I primarily work in the other. So - just click on your photo or icon in the top right hand corner of the browser, and check to see if you are correctly logged in. This fixed it for me.
