Azure Cloud Services - Support of .NET 6

Question

Am I right, that currently Azure Cloud Services and/or Azure Cloud Services Extended Support are only supporting the .NET Framework and not .NET 5 and 6?

Yes, you are correct. Yes. .Net framework 4.7.2 is the highest officially supported version. .Net core and .Net 5/6 are not officially supported.
That said, you can still install whatever you like in your VM (eg., we have seen customers install sql before). We just don't officially support the configuration.
