Network speed - differences between hypervisors

We have windows 10 1809 VMs build both on hyper-v and vmware ESXi hosts. Hosts hardware is the same - HP ProLiant G9. I am trying to figure out why network speed (copying files over network) is more than 2times slower on vmware ESXi than on hyper-v. Copying 6,6 GB file for hyper-v VM is 21s (0,55 GBps) where where the same file copied to the same location from esxi VM is 30s

How to figure out why there is such big difference between the same build of Windows 10 VMs?

Hyper-V

    Hi,

It's normal that products on different platforms have performance differences.

In addition, with regard to performance issues, the support level of our forum is of limited help to you, if your question is urgent, I would like to suggest you open the case to Microsoft.

Thanks for your understanding, if you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel

From original post - "more than 2times slower on vmware ESXi than on hyper-v."
From reply - " if your question is urgent, I would like to suggest you open the case to Microsoft."

The original post is asking why performance is poor on a VMware product. Why would a person open a support case with Microsoft when the issue is on a third-party product? My suggestion would be to open a support case with the third party, or at least find a forum on the third party product on which to ask a question.
