I would really like this product fixed or MS to give us the source code to fix it ourselves. We have gotten around the issue by using Audicity to merge MP3's into one file to fix the dead after one issue. We play a slug of songs that have been migrated into one continuous MP3 and switch live to a single song then back to another MP3 slug of songs. Microsoft please tell us something about this.

Audicity allows me to combine mp3's into one continuous file so that the visualization(s) still work in MediaPlayer. Audicity is a software product and I am not sure why you didnt understand that. Also it looks like you work for Microsoft! How about some answers as to the fate of Windows Media Player!

The winapi forum just deals with the issues related to winapi development. And I suggest you could post the issue to the microsoft community forum for better help.
All I was doing was responding to another users post about Media Player. How about a response, in this forum, to the simple question about Media Player and its future. I dont think any policies will be broken by a simple answer to this. Can you take out your rolodex and look up someone who can give the customers some kind of idea what to do with this vital product? If you post a direct link here or send an email link to a group it would be appreciated.
