Hey

I got an old rds deployments 2012r2 turned off, web, broker,gw and hosts. Around 10 vm hosting this roles are now turned off, for about 3 months. Could I just delete the servers, or should i turn on all vm's and actually uninstall all the rds roles? Struggeling with finding any info about any metadata cleanup if I go for the quick way and delete them all toghether. All the users are now using a new rds deployment with 2019 server , in the same domain.

    Hi,
All the users are now using a new rds deployment with 2019 server , in the same domain.

If the new RDS deployment worked well since you turned off the RDS 2012 three months ago, and there is no concern to use RDS 2012 as backup, it is fine to delete the VMs directly as current RDS deployment is running well without issues.
