Hello,

I would to know if I can substitute the cluster nfs (https://learn.microsoft.com/it-it/azure/virtual-machines/workloads/sap/high-availability-guide-suse) with Azure shared disk in a clustered ASCS environment on SLES distribution.

I found only the documentation for the SAP ASCS on WSFC (related to Azure shared disk) environment.

Thank you in advance,
Leonardo.

    UPDATE 9/25 :
    @Leonardo Queirolo

    Azure shared disk is currently not supported for SAP on Linux workloads.
    To avoid the need of NFS cluster the customer can use native NFS on ANF for SAP ASCS in a clustered environment, as described in the following article:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/workloads/sap/high-availability-guide-suse-netapp-files

    You are right, there is no documentation on the same.
    Looks like it is not supported. Reference: GitHub issue

    We do have a guide that describes how to use Azure NetApp Files instead of a self hosted NFS server: https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/virtual-machines/workloads/sap/high-availability-guide-suse-netapp-files

    Let me know if you have further questions, I can reach out to internal teams and get more details.

    Thanks.
