Domain is not recognizing in the VM

I created a custom domain where it is successfully verified in the azure custom domain section.
I am trying to join that domain in one the one the VM but it is not taking. Please let me know what I am doing wrong here. Thanks

    These are two different things, the 'Join a domain' feature in Windows is for joining a traditional Active Directory Domain Services domain.
