Hi @Mike Boswith ,
Welcome to our forum!
According to your description, i notice that you have installed Office 2010 and Microsoft 365 in your computer, right?
If so, as i know, you can have two different versions of Outlook on the same computer, but we don’t recommended it. If you do install two versions of Outlook, you can only run one version at a time. In addition, support for Office 2010 ended on October 13, 2020 and i'm afraid that there's no such environment to test. And it's suggested that you could uninstall Office 2010 for better user experience.
So basically i do not know how to recover my contacts from Outlook 2010 or access my email.
Regarding your concerns, what type of account do you use(POP/IMAP/Exchange)? If you're using an Exchange account, you just need to configure your account in Outlook 365 and then emails and contacts will be displayed.
