In Outlook (for Microsoft 365), the Navigation Bar has moved from bottom left to top left side. I've tried the other solutions offered in the other 'Navigation bar moved' without success: Coming Soon was already off, but I tried turning it on/off with a restart in between, and I started Outlook in Safe Mode, then restarted it normally, to no avail Is there another option to move that Nav Bar back to the bottom left? Outlook Navigation bar moved (again)

In Outlook (for Microsoft 365), the Navigation Bar has moved from bottom left to top left side.

I've tried the other solutions offered in the other 'Navigation bar moved' without success:

Thanks for your reply.

I'm trying to update the registry as suggested in the second method (I must admit that I'm not familiar with amending the Registry). I'm on Windows 10, so need to use the Registry Editor, but I'm not sure where to Import (?) the DisableComingSoon.reg file into (and I don't seem to be able to attach a pic of the HKEY folders (CLASSES_ROOT, CURRENT_USER, LOCAL_MACHINE, USERS, and CURRENT_CONFIG).

Any suggestions, or should I just wait and hope for a random fix to this random change?

No, I'm not using that method yet. I'm not sure which folder to copy the DisableComingSoon.reg file into. I've attached the folders that are listed when I start the Registry Editor. Which folder should I put this in. Thx

There is no need to specify the location of this file, you could create and save it anywhere. An introduction you could refer to: What Is a REG File (And How Do I Open One)?

The Coming Soon 'button' at top right of Outlook has disappeared. Whether that's because of my (our) efforts re registry or not, I don't know. However, the Navigation Bar is still at top left side, and has not returned to the bottom left

Update: Now that this feature has become the default, the earlier published workarounds no longer apply either.

So I'm afraid we cannot change it now, like the suggestion above, vote for the feedback for this feature to let Microsoft know: Navigation bar chnge
