Issue with parameter in dataflow expression builder

Hi

I am testing a data flow using Debug. Created a dataflow parameter, filled it, created derived column and want to test it.

But when I do a refresh in the derived column activity to test it, I get an error

Its referring to the Join before the Derived Column activity. I placed the activity somewhere else, but gives the same error. I read the documentation and this is how a parameter should be used.
But why then still it goes wrong?
We have been looking with multiple people but have no solution.
Does someone has the solution?

    Thankyou for using Microsoft Q&A platform and posting your question .

    As I understand your issue, you are trying to make use of dataflow parameter in mapping dataflow .

    However, it's throwing error when you are using the same parameter in expression building. Please let me know if that's not the case.
    I tried to reproduce your scenario and it works well for me without any issue.

    Kindly make sure the expression checkbox is unchecked in the parameter tab of Dataflow activity.
