PC problems

Question

So, my knowledge on computers is very limited so if someone knows a fix on this problem, please let me know. I was playing a game on my computer with Spotify playing, when all of a sudden it froze, and I let it sit there like before (PS this isn't the first time it did this), usually I do this and It takes me back to the lock screen and everything was fixed after that, but this time it sat there for 10 mins, and it took me to the lock screen, but when I loaded up the game I was playing before it crashed, and this time my frames sucked, everything was lagging and I wasn't able to hear the audio. So, I went to watch YouTube to see if it was only the game but no it wasn't, the video was lagging and I dont know what to do. Can anybody help me fix this or at least know the problem, please and thank you.

Try rebooting, run the pc manufacturer's hardware diagnostics, if that doesn't help then some other options here.

Update audio and graphic card drivers. You may do this either via Windows update or by visiting the support site of the manufacturer. Download and install the drivers.
You will also get clue if you look at the event viewer application error logs created immediately after the crash.
To launch the Event Viewer, just hit Start, type “Event Viewer” into the search box, and then click the result. Look at Application: The Application log records events related to Windows system components, such as drivers and built-in interface elements.
