Cannot log into Teams Ubuntu 18.04

Greetings,

I am trying to log into MS Teams on my Ubuntu 18.04 machine, but it won't work. After entering my (correct) credentials, the app or the website (I tried both) tries to load the next screen, but I always end up at the log-in screen again, with the statement that they "couldn't sign me in" and I should "try again".

Everything works fine on my Windows machine. The error happens with different browsers and different Teams accounts, so it definitely is connected to Linux.

Can someone help me out?

    @René ,

    Does this issue persist all the time? Or what do you do before this issue happened?

    Does anybody else have the same issue?

    Try to log in Teams web client in InPrivate mode and verify the results.
    If it works, clear the cookies in browser. Also, clear the desktop client cache by the following command:

    rm -r ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams\ -\ Insiders

    Besides, make sure that your client is the latest version.

    Dear @Sharon Zhao-MSFT ,

    thanks for the response.
    I just checked whether the problem is still there, but it is not. I have changed absolutely nothing. Like a miracle. I don't quite get it, but I can log in now.

    There seem to be many people with a similar problem online:

    With varying ideas for solutions. I tried a few but it did not work, which is why I had come here. I hope the problem does not reappear again.

    edit: I seem to have written the original post with my other account. I am the opener of the thread.
