Known issues and workarounds
Deep linking could be greyed out in the Posts tab of the channel
When the app is added as a tab on a channel or a message is posted on the channel through the Chat feature, the channel message contains a deep link, which can be used to navigate to the app or open the corresponding loan record in the app. If the Loan Manager tab is removed from the channel and added back again on the same channel, the link on all posts created before the tab was removed will become greyed out and linking will no longer work.
Go back button is greyed out when deep linking from the Posts tab of the channel
- Select the record in the Posts tab.
- This links you to the record, but the go back button is greyed out, which prevents you from selecting it to go back to the Dashboard.
- You can go back to the Dashboard by selecting the Save & Close button. This will save and close the current record and take you back to the Dashboard.
Send file attachments from personal chat
You can’t send files from personal chat. However, you can send file attachments in the Teams channel. If you try to send a file in personal chat, it will display the message “We’re setting up your files. Check back in a few minutes.”
Workaround to send a file in personal chat
- Go to the Files tab in the channel and upload the file.
- Copy the link of the uploaded file.
- Send the file link using personal chat.
