NuspecProperties should be in the form of 'key1=value1;key2=value2'.

Issue

Properties passed to msbuild -t:pack -p:NuspecFile=project.nuspec command were not in the right format to be parsed.

Solution

Please pass any nuspec properties using -p:NuspecProperties in the format of key=value. For instance msbuild -t:pack -p:NuspecFile=project.nuspec -p:NuspecProperties="configuration=release"
