German journal list report

This article explains what the German journal list report is used for, who typically uses it, and how to run it.

The German journal list report shows a list of transactions that are produced when journalizing is run. The list is sorted by journal sequence number. The report is used to review the status of general ledger processes. It's typically used by chief executive officers (CEOs), chief financial officers (CFOs), compliance managers, accounting managers, accounting supervisors, and financial controllers. To run the German journal list report, follow these steps.

  1. Go to General ledger > Periodic tasks > Journalizing.
  2. Apply filters and select OK to journalize transactions.
  3. Go to General ledger > Periodic tasks > Journalized journals.
  4. Select a line with a journal.
  5. On the Action Pane, select German journal list.
