Checking e-mail over the Internet

Platí pro: Windows SBS 2003

With Outlook Web Access, users can use a Web browser to work with data stored on a remote computer running Microsoft® Exchange Server 2003. The browser can run on any UNIX, Macintosh, or Microsoft Windows-based computer and can provide Web-based access to public folders and address books. Users can also access personal mailboxes to read e-mail, send messages, organize contacts, create tasks, and schedule appointments.

Poznámka

To open Outlook Web Access, click Start, click Internet Explorer, and type the following URL in the address bar:

https://Servername/Exchange, where servername is the name of the computer running Windows® Small Business Server 2003.

Enter a user name and password, and then click Log On.

Poznámka

When you are finished using Outlook Web Access, click Log Off and then close all browser windows. Logging off is the most reliable way to prevent someone else from using the computer to access users' mailboxes.
