This section describes concepts about configuring and sending e-mail on a Windows SBS network.

  • Before you can send e-mail, you need to configure the e-mail server and connectors. For more information, see Configuring and Managing E-mail Servers and Connectors.

  • After you configure the e-mail servers and connectors, you can send and check e-mail. For more information, see Sending and Checking E-mail.

  • You can synchronize e-mail between POP3 mailbox accounts and Exchange user accounts, and if you use a mobile device you can synchronize with offline folders. For more information, see Synchronizing E-mail.
