To access files that are shared on the server

  1. On the client computer, click Start.

  2. In the Search box, type <\\<ServerName>\UserShares\<UserAccountName>, where <ServerName> is the name of your server and <UserAccountName> is the name of your user account (for example, \\contososerver\UserShares\janedow\). By default, only you can access the files in your folder.
