Configuration Manager Deprecated Functions

Applies To: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

These functions, although functional in Systems Management Server 2003 and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007, should not be used because they might not be available in future releases of Configuration Manager 2007. For equivalent supported functions, see MSDN.

Function Description

SmsCreateAccount

Creates an account in the specified domain and with the specified account name and password.

SmsGrantActAsOSRight

Grants the act as operating system credentials to the specified account.

SmsGrantAdminRight

Grants administrator credentials to the specified account.

SmsGrantDomainAdminRight

Grants domain administrator credentials to the specified account.

SmsGrantServiceLogonRight

Grants service logon credentials to the specified account.

SmsLsaAccount

Determines whether a particular account has administrator credentials, as required by Configuration Manager services.

SmsLsaGetTrustedDomains

Gets a list of trusted domain names.
