Vector128.ToVector256<T>(Vector128<T>) Method

Definition

Converts the given vector to a new Vector256<T> with the lower 128-bits set to the value of the given vector and the upper 128-bits initialized to zero.

public:
generic <typename T>
 where T : value class[System::Runtime::CompilerServices::Extension]
 static System::Runtime::Intrinsics::Vector256<T> ToVector256(System::Runtime::Intrinsics::Vector128<T> vector);
public static System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector256<T> ToVector256<T> (this System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector128<T> vector) where T : struct;
static member ToVector256 : System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector128<'T (requires 'T : struct)> -> System.Runtime.Intrinsics.Vector256<'T (requires 'T : struct)> (requires 'T : struct)
<Extension()>
Public Function ToVector256(Of T As Structure) (vector As Vector128(Of T)) As Vector256(Of T)

Type Parameters

T

The type of the input vector.

Parameters

vector
Vector128<T>

The vector to extend.

Returns

Vector256<T>

A new Vector256<T> with the lower 128-bits set to the value of vector and the upper 128-bits initialized to zero.

Exceptions

The type of vector (T) is not supported.
