DataGridView.OnCellParsing(DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs) Method

Raises the CellParsing event.

 virtual void OnCellParsing(System::Windows::Forms::DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnCellParsing (System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs e);
abstract member OnCellParsing : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnCellParsing : System.Windows.Forms.DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnCellParsing (e As DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs)

The value of the ColumnIndex property of e is greater than the number of columns in the control minus one.

The value of the RowIndex property of e is greater than the number of rows in the control minus one.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnCellParsing method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnCellParsing(DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnCellParsing(DataGridViewCellParsingEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
