Privacy & Personal Data

Universal Print customers trust that their data's privacy is protected and used only in a way that is consistent with their expectations. To help Universal Print admins set such expectations, this article provides information on how Universal Print administrators can view and delete personal data.

A customer can request to export (via an administrator) their personal data which is processed by Universal Print. Data Subject Export requests are fulfilled via in-product processing through the Universal Print Graph API. A customer can request to delete (via an administrator) their personal data which is processed by Universal Print. To delete an end user from Universal Print, an admin must delete the user from Microsoft Entra ID. At that point, all of the personal data associated with that account will be removed within 30 days.

Export personal data through Universal Print Graph API

Admins can export end user personal data to comply with Data Subject Rights requests. It is up to the organization to decide whether or not to provide the data subject with a copy of the personal data. To export a user's personal data, an admin can use the Universal Print Graph API. Instructions to retrieve identifiable data are below:
