My MSN: Add content in RSS feeds

In addition to the modules that you can find on My MSN by browsing or searching, you can create your own modules that display items from RSS feeds anywhere on the Internet. To add an RSS feed to My MSN as a module:

  1. Sign in to the My MSN website with your Windows Live ID.

    Open the My MSN website without signing in. If you use My MSN without signing in, your customized changes will be stored on your computer in a cookie, so that the same modules will appear the next time you visit My MSN on the same computer. If you delete your cookies, your customized changes will be lost.

  2. At the top of the page, click the tab for the page that you want to change.

  3. In the upper-right corner, click Add content.

  4. In the left pane, click Add RSS.

  5. Type or paste the web address of the RSS feed that you want to add, and then click Add.

  6. Click Back to My Page.


Many websites syndicate their content with RSS feeds. Websites that do this usually display the RSS icon RSS. Usually, if you click the RSS icon on the website, you'll be taken to a webpage where you can copy the RSS feed's web address.
