My MSN: Add links to your favorite websites

Store the web addresses of your favorite websites. Unlike favorites that you save in Windows Internet Explorer, favorites saved in the Favorites module are available from any computer that you sign in to My MSN on.

  1. Sign in to the My MSN website with your Windows Live ID.

    Open the My MSN website without signing in. If you use My MSN without signing in, your customized changes will be stored on your computer in a cookie, so that the same modules will appear the next time you visit My MSN on the same computer. If you delete your cookies, your customized changes will be lost.

  2. If you haven't already done so, add the Favorites module.

    1. At the top of the page, click the tab for the page that you want to change.

    2. In the upper-right corner, click Add content.

    3. In the Search Gallery Content box, type Favorites, and then click Search.

    4. Under MSN Recommends, in the Favorites box, click Add.

    5. Click Back to My Page.

  3. At the top of the Favorites module, click Menu, and then click Change Details.

  4. In the Add a link box, type the site's web address, such as “https://www.microsoft.com”.

  5. In the Type a name for the link box, type a name for the favorite, such as “Example website”.

  6. Click Add.

Note

To go to a website whose web address you've saved, in the Favorites module, click the website's name.

My MSN: Make My MSN your home page
