MSN Explorer: Create a signature

To automatically add a signature to the end of all your outgoing e-mail messages:

  1. Click the Help & Settings menu, and then click Settings.

  2. In the left pane, click E-mail.

  3. Click Writing e-mail

  4. Click Signature.

  5. Type your signature information.

  6. To add your signature to each message you write, select Every new message you write.

    To add your signature to messages that you reply to or forward, select Messages you reply to or forward

  7. Click Save Changes.

Note

  • When you create your signature in Windows Live Hotmail, it appears in the Type your signature box as plain text. To format the text, use HTML tags. If you previously created a signature in Windows Live Hotmail using rich text formatting, the text appears in the Type your signature box with HTML tags.

  • To add your signature when you're typing an e-mail message, click Insert Signature on the More menu.
