MSN Explorer: Customize the navigation bar
You can customize the appearance of the navigation bar by choosing to display text or icons, adding or removing buttons, or changing the order of the buttons.
Display buttons as icons or text
On the View menu, point to Navigation Bar, and then click one of the following:
Text Only
Large Icons
Medium Icons
Small Icons
Add or remove a button
On the navigation bar, click Customize.
In the Choose Buttons for Toolbar dialog box, click an item in the Available buttons list, and then click Add.

In the Choose Buttons for Toolbar dialog box, click an item in the Displayed buttons list, and then click Remove.
Click OK.
Reset the navigation bar settings
On the navigation bar, click Customize.
In the Choose Buttons for Toolbar dialog box, click Reset.
Click OK.
Change the order of the buttons
On the navigation bar, click Customize.
In the Choose Buttons for Toolbar dialog box, click a button name in the Displayed buttons list.
Click Move Up or Move Down.
Click OK.
Note
- You can't remove or change the order of the Back or Forward buttons on the navigation bar.
- If you don't see the Customize button, click the More Buttons icon on the right side of the navigation bar to see more buttons.
