MSN Explorer: Set up or remove account managers

An MSN account can have one or more account managers. The person who buys the subscription is usually the primary account manager, and others can be added as secondary account managers.

Grant account manager status

  1. Click the Help & Settings menu, and then click Accounts & Billing.

  2. Click Choose secondary account managers.

  3. Under Current accounts on this subscription, click Change Status next to the name of the person you want to be an account manager.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Note

If the Change Status button isn't available, the person can't be granted account manager status. To be granted account manager status, the person must not have parental controls set on the account, and must have signed in to MSN at least once.

Withdraw account manager status

  1. Click the Help & Settings menu, and then click Accounts & Billing.

  2. Click Choose secondary account managers.

  3. Under Secondary account managers on this subscription, click Change Status next to the name of the person whose account manager status you want to remove.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Note

A secondary account manager can't remove the primary account manager's account or account manager status.
