My MSN: Search for items on eBay

Search for items on the popular Internet auction website eBay and keep track of any auctions that you're involved in with the eBay Auctions module. My MSN displays the time remaining in each auction, the number of bids, and whether you're winning.

  1. Sign in to the My MSN website with your Windows Live ID.

    Open the My MSN website without signing in. If you use My MSN without signing in, your customized changes will be stored on your computer in a cookie, so that the same modules will appear the next time you visit My MSN on the same computer. If you delete your cookies, your customized changes will be lost.

  2. If you haven't already done so, add the eBay Auctions module.

    1. At the top of the page, click the tab for the page that you want to change.

    2. In the upper-right corner, click Add content.

    3. In the Search Gallery Content box, type eBay Auctions, and then click Search.

    4. Under MSN Recommends, in the eBay Auctions box, click Add.

    5. Click Back to My Page.

  3. In the eBay Auctions module, you can do any of the following:

    1. In the Search eBay box, type a search term, and then click Go.

    Keep track of auctions that you're involved in

    1. If you haven't already done so, click Sign in with eBay, and then enter your eBay credentials.

    2. Do any of the following:

      • To see a list of auctions in which you're bidding, click the Bidding tab.

      • To see a list of auctions in which you're the seller, click the Selling tab.

      • To see a list of auctions that you're watching, click the Watching tab.

      • To see a list of auctions that you've won, click the Won tab.

    Go to an item's webpage on eBay

    1. If you haven't already done so, click Sign in with eBay, and then enter your eBay credentials.

    2. On the Bidding, Selling, Watching, or Won tab, click the item name.
