MSN Explorer: Organize your favorites list

You can organize your favorites in folders, and choose how you want your list of favorites to be sorted and displayed.

Sort your favorites list

  1. On the navigation bar, click Favorites, and then click Organize Favorites.

  2. Above the list, click Favorites or Last viewed to sort the list alphabetically or chronologically

Move favorites

  1. On the navigation bar, click Favorites, and then click Organize Favorites.

  2. Under the name of the favorite you want to move, click Move to folder.

  3. Click a folder name.

  4. Click OK.

Create a new folder

  1. On the navigation bar, click Favorites, and then click Organize Favorites.

  2. In the left pane, click Create a new folder.

  3. In the Name box, type a folder name, and then click OK.

Delete a favorite or folder

  1. On the navigation bar, click Favorites, and then click Organize Favorites.

  2. Under the website page name or folder name, click Delete.

  3. Click Yes.

Show a large thumbnail of each favorite

  1. On the navigation bar, click Favorites, and then click Organize Favorites.

  2. Under View options, select the Show large thumbnails check box.

Note

  • To refresh a thumbnail, click the thumbnail to open the web page. After the page loads, click Back to return to the Favorites page.

  • To show the full web address of each favorite, select the Show web addresses (URLs) check box.

Note

To rename a favorite or folder, select it and then click Rename. Type a new name, and then click OK.
