Video viewer appears black
If the video viewer appears black when you try to view a video on MSN Video, you may need to enable the ShockWave Flash or Microsoft Silverlight add-ons in Windows Internet Explorer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Programs tab, click Manage add-ons.
If you use Adobe Flash Player, in the list of add-ons, click Shockwave ActiveX Control.

If you use Microsoft Silverlight, in the list of add-ons, click Microsoft Silverlight.
Under Settings, click Enable.
Click OK, and then click OK again.
Notes
If you don't see Shockwave ActiveX Control or Microsoft Silverlight in the list of add-ons, go to the Adobe Flash Player website and install Adobe Flash Player, or go to Get Started - Install Silverlight and install Microsoft Silverlight.
