Remarks

This interface represents the service that returns the prefix for a particular XAML namespace. A technology reports a preferred prefix for XAML namespace mapping as part of assembly-level information. This service retrieves that information.

The .NET Framework XAML Services implementation provides XmlnsPrefixAttribute as a mechanism for applying preferred prefix information at the assembly level. Existing service providers that provide the INamespacePrefixLookup service can read information from that attribute if information is available.
