Monotype.com is a special version of Monotype's Andale Mono, a highly legible monospaced font.

Andale (formerly Monotype.com) version history

Version 1.25 - Monotype.com renamed Andale. This WGL4 version of Andale was first included as part of the Windows 98 update site. The font includes the distinctive zero and the euro currency symbol first seen in Monotype.com version 1.20.

Monotype.com version 1.20 - This version of Monotype.com was updated to include a distinctive zero and the euro currency symbol.

Monotype.com version 1.10 - Monotype.com 1.10 was added to our collection of Core fonts for the Web on 26 January 1998. Version 1.00 was included in the Internet Explorer 4.0 supplemental font pack.

Monotype.com version 1.00 - This WGL4 version was included in the Internet Explorer 4.0 supplemental font pack.
