Acquiring New Numbers from Microsoft Teams

What information and documents do I need to provide for my new number order?
  • A utility bill no older than 6 months that shows your company name and address
What number types are available?
How much time will it take for me to acquire new phone numbers (approximately)?
  • Up to 4 business days if the number is available.
  • Up to 90 business days if the number must be ordered.
Miscellaneous information
  • Austria has a one number policy. That means you can have only one number per location.
  • Extensions can be provided on request.
  • Numbers will have the local area code associated with the location. Not all local area codes can be supplied.
  • Mobile numbers are not available.

You can submit your number acquisition request through the Teams Administration Center.

Porting Existing Numbers to Microsoft Teams

How long will it take for me to port my phone numbers (approximately)?
  • 10 to 30 business days
When do phone number ports take place?
  • Ports take place Monday through Friday between 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Central European Time.
Can I change or cancel my port order?
  • Port changes and cancellations must be requested 2 business days before the approved porting date.
Can I port some but not all of my phone numbers?
  • You can only port one number at a time in Austria. All extensions are ported automatically by the losing carrier.
