InkCanvas.CopySelection Method

Definition

Copies selected strokes and/or elements to the Clipboard.

Examples

The following example selects two elements on an InkCanvas and copies them to the Clipboard. This example assumes that there is a TextBox called textbox1 and a Button called button1 - and that both controls are child elements of the InkCanvas.

inkCanvas1.Select(new UIElement[] { textbox1, button1 });
inkCanvas1.CopySelection();
inkCanvas1.Select(New UIElement() {textbox1, button1})
inkCanvas1.CopySelection()

Remarks

The InkCanvas can support Clipboard data in Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) format, Ink Serialized Format (ISF), and text format. Strokes to the Clipboard are both Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML) format, Ink Serialized Format (ISF).
