I have tried to upgrade Azure AD but was reporting error and i decided to uninstall it and install the new installation file that i download from Microsoft AzureAD. After the installation and when AzureAD starts i am getting the below error:

It appears that you are resuming a scenario which was not completed previously during installation. Please uninstall and try again.

I tried it but still the same.

Does anyone had come to the same situation as me? If someone have the solution i will appreciate it to share it.

Thanks

Hi @Adminitrator , it seems like the previous installation of Azure AD was not completely removed from your system, and that is why you are getting this error message. To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

    1. Uninstall Azure AD Connect from your system using the Control Panel or the PowerShell command "Uninstall-ADSync".
    2. Check if there are any remaining Azure AD Connect directories or files in the following locations:
      • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure AD Sync
      • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure AD Sync\Data
      • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Azure AD Sync\Bin
If you find any remaining directories or files, delete them.
    3. Restart your system.
    4. Download the latest version of Azure AD Connect from the Microsoft website.
    5. Install Azure AD Connect using the new installation file.

If you still encounter the same error message after following these steps, you can try running the Azure AD Connect installation wizard in "Custom" mode and select the option to "Start a new configuration". This will create a new configuration for Azure AD Connect and should resolve any issues related to the previous installation.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I can help you further.
