DeleteMedia Service Operation - Campaign Management

Deletes the specified media from an account's media library.

Request Elements

The DeleteMediaRequest object defines the body and header elements of the service operation request. The elements must be in the same order as shown in the Request SOAP.

Note

Unless otherwise noted below, all request elements are required.

AccountId The identifier of the account that owns the media library. long
MediaIds A maximum of 100 media identifiers to delete from the account's media library.

You cannot delete media that is associated or assigned to an ImageAdExtension or ResponsiveAd object. Otherwise this operation will return the 4024 CampaignServiceMediaIsAssociated error.

AuthenticationToken The OAuth access token that represents the credentials of a user who has permissions to Microsoft Advertising accounts.

The DeleteMediaResponse object defines the body and header elements of the service operation response. The elements are returned in the same order as shown in the Response SOAP.

PartialErrors An array of BatchError objects that contain details for any media that were not successfully deleted.

The list of errors corresponds directly to the list of media in the request. Items of the list may be returned as null. For each list index where media was successfully deleted, the corresponding error element will be null. Ideally all media are deleted successfully and all elements in this list are null.
