Merging Microsoft accounts

I was just trying to bring to the attention the problem off merging Microsoft accounts if you view this link https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-security/merging-two-microsoft-accounts/6ec9f0c6-56a2-4a32-b115-46c6cfbd255b?page=5 you will see the 2000 odd comments from people like myself who wish they could update there email and not have to manage two or more accounts. I am just trying to put this problem in front of the right eyes thanks.

It is not possible to change the MSDN/TechNet profile association to a different Microsoft account.

When you create an MSDN forums profile it is associated to a Microsoft account. The Microsoft account is only used for authentication. What you can do is create an alias on your Microsoft account with the new email address and then sign on with that address.
