Problem with tracing questions

Hello,


I have a big problems with qestions tracing.

The below filters or collections are badly needed
1. Questions without accepted answer
2. All asked questions
3. Questions with accepted answer

But it shows all unanswered questions, I need to trace my questions. Is there such possibility?

Thank you for your feedback. This functionality does not exist today. We are looking at how to implement it by combining filters in different pages and improving the filter functionality.

In MSDN there was such functionality. When you entered in your profile, you could show list of your answered and unanswered questions with one click.

One click is very important - because first of thing you want to do entering MQA is check if there are any answer for your threads.

The MSDN forums has multiple features which are not yet implemented here and some will probably will never be here, while other features are planned to add here in the future which we do not have in the MSDN.

We/I hope to push the team to make this interface as close as possible to the MSDN ��

It might take some time, and your help is needed (voting feedback and raise new feedback request to improve the system and bring the beloved MSDN features to live

To trace your questions and Answered or Unanswered one, and so on in your user interface you should be able to set many options for those and receive an alert almost instantly in your email Here


I can manage all the email with question i have asked or anything related to.

It helps, but when I log to the MQA account I want to check answers on my questions with one click. Such possibility was available on MSDN

Just need a frame to frame these message as a defiled code sequential. And problem is solved.

This is totally useless in my opinion and has no value for the active supporters in the forums, since the same active supporters here are also active in other communities activities and email distribution lists (DL) with the communities

I get over 100 legit emails each day! Do you think that I can read 10% of these?!?

What we need is internal alerts like other systems have.

I need to see an alerts when I come to the forum. For example on the right corner near the profile we can have a red icon which appear when one of the alerts we choose to get raise. Once we will click the red icon then we will get a list of the alerts which the relevant links (this simple feature was existing in the forums interface which I developed in 2001 and we need it in 2021 much more since we have much more emails)

Yes the MSDN equivalent My Threads view is required here, with read / unread indicators

Alerts are not useless, some have better habits to use alerts while they are present to their working space, while other are getting distracted from Alerts. There should not have any content that is not relevant or useless.


You see this from there, while another user see it from another ''There'', while i see all of these answer, would fit together.


I see a live chat, to stay up to date, with each portail if needed into a frame, pretty simple, an Mirc like... for example. I see your Alerts included into the chat, like you said, you want a live alert, i presume because you are at your computer and busy doing something else. You get 100 emails a day, it's about the same here, that is great we understand each other. ( "__" ) But content is not useless because you get 100 emails are are exalted from those, The chat or board panel could be a crucial piece to help every dev, admin, user, to share informations and stay lively up to date. You can't miss this.

Alerts are not useless but Alerts by email are, for many people (like myself)

I think alerts should be inline in the forum and not by emails (or by both options according to the user choice
