Looks like new users get 1 reward point automatically as a Welcome point maybe. You may please clarify/update on this in Reputations point document. This will avoid questions like below:

I like the new addons but there is 3 Tab that seem to not work. They lead to a blank page.

Hi, I checked all the links provided by you and the result is not blank for me. If I click on them, page shows my certifications, badges, transcript etc. If you have passed MS certification exam, you should be able to see it too.
