Duplicate answers from Microsoft representatives

See ContextMenu not recognized by IDE. That is not the first one like that where a Microsoft representative posts the same thing as I do. If Microsoft does not want volunteers to help then they should say so.

Well, I also have encountered this multiple time already.

Not that I mind that, but for helpers who do mind it, this could be quite discouraging, especially unlike MSDN forum that allows multiple answers, this forum only allow one, and some asker definitely would be more likely to mark replies from users with MSFT badge than other users.

I have also encountered this duplicative behavior by MSFT responders to questions. Its as if they are desperate to increase their reputation point totals.

Yes and they (Microsoft personnel) do not even vote for the other answers as if they do not want to admit that any other answer is useful. And people have a tendency to post answers to request clarification. The problem is that Microsoft personnel do that as much as others and that sets a bad example.

Another example of duplication of previously provided answers by MSFT -

If these MSFT representatives believe they have some useful information to supplement what they already have seen posted as a correct answer they should provide it as a comment to that previously provided correct answer.

Yes. I agree highly. I can find other examples of that.
