Can we migrate existing Technet/MSDN rewards, points to Microsoft Q&A

Seniors who contribute in MSDN, Technet forums have lot of reward points, medals etc.
Looks like, everyone needs to start from 0 on this new forum

Is there any way we can use existing rewards from existing forums in here?

Up to 10 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 3.0 MiB each and 30.0 MiB total.

And also from Xamarin forum - there are some users there, that have worked really hard for their reputation!

Thanks for the question! Currently you can't carry over your MSDN and TechNet reputation. However, in the future we'll give you the opportunity to link Microsoft Q&A and MSDN and TechNet forums. When this is an option, your current badges and points from MSDN and TechNet forums will be displayed as part of your Microsoft Q&A profile.

Thanks @ajkuma-MSFT

Could you please clarify to us what the migration plan refers to in the below context

A migration of a resource this size is a massive undertaking. To ensure a smooth transition and minimize any disruption for users, we’ve broken down the migration into multiple phases. The goal is to complete the migration by mid-2020.

Hi @melqassas this means that we are moving support for services in phases. We are starting with a few,

and we will be adding more, starting with the ones supported in MSDN and TechNet Forums.

I want to confirm that this suggestion is still in our roadmap. We are very behind our original schedule, but I will start specifying this work in a couple of weeks.

Wow, I saw a July 10th reply and assumed it was a recent (2020) reply, but in looking back at the beginning of this thread, I see that the original post was dated November 01!!! Obviously not 2020! But, is it 2019 or 2018 or ????

Sorry, but this is pretty bad. Anything with a date in a previous year should have the year displayed!!! Not just the month!!!

I believe TechNet and MSDN forum will be shutdown in future, therefore it would be better like instead of linking points, we should have representation like define mapping between MSDN , TechNet point and badge with Microsoft QnA and migrate pointed here.

We are working on this item at the moment. It is a complicated one and it has taken us a while to figure it out. Moving to In Progress status. Thank you all
