Xamarin + Azure Mobile sync

Hi alltogether,
it seems that 'Azure Mobile Apps SDK' is pretty old and not updated since long time.
Is there any idea to update this framework to Net.Core or is there any other advice to use
Xamarin + Azure_SQL + Azure_Offline_Sync

Thanks
Peter

@PeterForstmeier-0401, there aren't any plans to update the Azure Mobile Apps SDK. I suggest reviewing this blog post, which contains a link to the repo where you can submit feedback as well as some sample apps. You may find developer mobile apps doc helpful. Unfortunately, though, you won't find much on offline syncing.

EDIT: Please check out https://github.com/Azure/azure-mobile-apps-net-client/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md for the latest changes to the Azure Mobile Apps SDK. Do note any breaking changes listed to ensure no negative impacts to your application.

Hi ryanchill,
thanks for the very quick answer, i will give them a try, and hopefully, i can get offline sync work with NET.Core.

I didn't have any idea if someone of Microsoft ist reading in this forum. If so, please note.
I think bidirectional sync will be one of the essentials in the ERP and Mobile stage. Why should one use apps an a mobile device when i can share data with the 'host'.
So, if there is any chance, please convert the stuff or offer a new product.
Thanks
Peter
